Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Reviewing production orders related to the monthly plan for production and accordingly calculates the quantities required to be produce throughout the month.
Coordinates with different raw materials depts. and arrange production so there will be no conflict with the production monthly plan.
Accurately calculate productivity and accordingly minimize waste percentage as low as possible.
Moves production to semi-finished warehouse with its ID tag fully written with no missing info.
Comply with Pharmaplast policies and procedures, Engineering Standards and Specifications, and regulatory agency regulations and requirements. Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing areas.
Assist in the troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and processes. Investigate process and equipment exceptions and follow up CAPA implementation. Revise SOP’s and work instructions when needed and submit Change Requests (CRR) for approval and further considerations whenever needed.
Develop and implement changes that will improve equipment performance and consequently product quality in the manufacturing areas and reduce manufacturing costs. Evaluate and implement new equipment technology.
Participate in and request trainings for manufacturing personnel under his direct supervision on machines’ working instructions and other QMS procedures and policies.
Provide support to GMP/ Compliance specialists in the batch record process and discrepancies closures.
Provide assistance during Regulatory Agency Audits.
Arrange production workers in day and night shift according to department needs.
Request overtime for workers whenever needed.
The part of the validation team responsible for execution of OPQ operations (lots) under the supervision of the validation team.
Supports complaint investigations, signal detection, product issue escalations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education Background: Bachelor Degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Fresh Graduates up to 3 years of experience relevant to the job.
Residence: Alexandria resident is a must.
