Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the QA environment, ensuring all tools and infrastructure are set up and maintained for seamless testing operations.
- Develop and implement QA processes and standards, tailoring them to project needs and industry best practices for optimal efficiency.
- Manage and mentor QA team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment focused on quality deliverables.
- Oversee test data management, ensuring data integrity and availability for comprehensive test coverage across all projects.
- Coordinate and facilitate test planning, execution, and reporting, providing clear and concise communication to stakeholders.
- Analyze test results and metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance overall software quality.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution, ensuring issues are prioritized and resolved effectively within specified timelines.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and provide feedback on product design and functionality.
- Stay current with QA trends, tools, and methodologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance testing capabilities.
- Administer and maintain QA tools and systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability for the QA team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in software development principles.
- Holds relevant certifications such as ISTQB or similar, demonstrating a commitment to quality assurance best practices.
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and QA, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Shows analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Exhibits leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience guiding and developing QA team members.
- Demonstrates a proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
