Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive API test plans, cases, and scripts, meticulously ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.
- Develop and maintain automated API test suites using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or similar, optimizing for efficiency and reusability.
- Perform in-depth analysis of API specifications (Swagger, OpenAPI) to identify potential issues and proactively mitigate risks.
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand API design, debug issues, and ensure alignment with requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
- Demonstrates 3+ years of hands-on experience in API testing, showcasing a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
- Holds relevant certifications such as ISTQB or similar, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and best practices.
- Experience in the financial sector or related industry, enabling them to understand the specific requirements and regulations.
