Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Mech. QA/QC

Responsibilities:

  • Verification of materials, mill test certificates and confirming compliance to the code & company requirements during IMIR clearance.
  • Conducting welding procedure qualification tests and maintaining procedure qualification records (PQR) for Structural, Tank & Piping works.
  • Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification & conducting Procedure Qualification test at site per requirement.
  • Verification of welding consumables BTCs & conduct necessary Qualification test at site.
  • Preparation of Job procedure & ITP pertaining to Structural, Piping & Tank works.
  • Periodical Site Internal Audits.
  • Visually inspecting the fit up & welded joints of Structural, Tank & Piping works.
  • Welding inspection (surveillance checks before ,during and after welding)
  • Conducting all NDT inspections and preparation of all inspection records.
  • Coordination with Customer for necessary day-to-day inspections.
  • Piping test package preparation, review, and site verification and punching the pending activities.
  • NDT Clearance of Piping Test packs
  • Hydrotest witness of Tank & Piping system.
