Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans specifically for aluminum manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of aluminum products, including dimensional checks, surface finish evaluations, and mechanical property testing, using specialized equipment.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment, such as tensile testers, spectrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis of defects in aluminum products, implementing corrective actions, and preventing recurrence.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within an aluminum manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with aluminum extrusion, casting, or fabrication processes.
- In-depth knowledge of aluminum alloys, their properties, and common defects.
