Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance

    • Implement and maintain Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001

    • Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements

    • Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards

    Site Inspection & Execution

    • Conduct inspections for civil works (concrete, earthworks, structural elements)

    • Supervise infrastructure works including roads, drainage, and utilities

    • Inspect electrical works such as cable installation, testing, and commissioning

    Standards & Testing

    • Ensure compliance with international standards such as ASTM International, AASHTO, IEC, and IEEE

    • Witness and review material testing and inspection activities

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and logs

    • Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions

    • Manage documentation using systems such as Aconex

    Coordination

    • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and client representatives

    • Attend site meetings and support quality audits

Desired Candidate Profile

  • � Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

    � Experience

    • 1–2+ years of QA/QC experience in construction or infrastructure projects

    • Experience in UAE/GCC projects preferred

    � Technical Skills

    • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and standards

    • Proficient in:

      • AutoCAD

      • Microsoft Excel

    • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs

    � Competencies

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Excellent communication and reporting skills

    • Problem-solving and analytical thinking

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
