Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) site activities in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and UAE authority regulations.

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of MEP works on site.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE standards and authority requirements such as DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, and local municipality regulations.

  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and IFC drawings before execution.

  • Inspect installation works for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems to ensure quality and compliance with project standards.

  • Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for all MEP systems.

  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and coordinate with the planning team to meet project schedules.

  • Resolve technical issues, RFIs, and site clashes in coordination with design and BIM teams.

  • Monitor material deliveries, manpower productivity, and subcontractor performance on site.

  • Ensure implementation of HSE requirements and maintain safe working practices at all times.

  • Support project handover activities including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and authority inspections.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP site execution for commercial, residential, hospital, hotel, or high-rise projects.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and international standards related to MEP systems.

  • Hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, ELV, fire alarm, and fire fighting systems.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office applications.

  • Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures and QA/QC documentation.

  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.

  • UAE driving license is preferred.

Certifications such as PMP, LEED, OSHA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
