Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer based in United Arab Emirates. The engineer will oversee quality assurance and control processes, conduct quality audits, inspect equipment and services, and ensure compliance with quality management standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the engineer will monitor and implement measures to uphold product and service quality. Identifying areas for improvement, providing actionable feedback, and maintaining detailed quality records will also be part of the role.
Core Responsibilities
Perform inspection and quality control of welding activities (fit-up, visual inspection, weld maps, etc.)
Review and verify WPS, PQR, and WPQ documentation.
Monitor fabrication of piping, tanks, vessels, structural steel, and other components.
Coordinate with project teams, third-party inspectors, and clients on QC matters.
Raise non-conformity reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with international codes (ASME, API, AWS, ISO standards).
Maintain quality documentation and reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector Certification
3-4 Years of Experience in Oil field industry
Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices
Experience in Quality Auditing and implementing Quality Management processes
Strong ability to perform thorough inspections and evaluate compliance with quality standards
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with industry-specific quality certifications and standards
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
