Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for aluminium and glass works.

  • Conduct rigorous factory inspections of fabricated elements (curtain walls, windows, doors) against approved shop drawings before dispatch.

  • Perform site inspections during and after installation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and consultant requirements.

  • Prepare and submit Method Statements, Material Submittals, and QA/QC reports.

  • Manage third-party testing (e.g., water/air infiltration tests) and coordinate with consultant inspectors for WIR approvals.

  • Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience specifically in the aluminium, glass, and facade industry preferrably in the UAE.

  • Deep knowledge of aluminium systems (e.g., Schuco, Reynaers, Gulf Extrusions) and glass processing standards is preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and shop drawings.

  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
