Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
VI- Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Administration, control, day to day running and maintenance of the Documented Quality
System.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in concrete pavement projects, ideally in airport
or highway works.
Deep knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and relevant international standards/regulations.
Strong background in concrete materials selection, mix design, and performance
optimization.
Proven experience in pavement construction methodologies including sub-base
preparation, dowel/bar installation, curing, and jointing techniques.
Proficiency in conducting and supervising concrete inspection, NDT methods, and
quality control tests
Ability to prepare and review technical reports, NCRs, and method statements
ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
JOB DESCRIPTION
Familiarity with paving machines and mechanized placement techniques.
Hands-on experience in hot weather concreting, mass concrete control, and
durability assessment.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong capability to coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors at all
project stages.
Updating, issuing and controlling the Quality Policy Manual and Operating Procedures.
Formal recording, investigating and reporting on customer complaints and service failures.
Liaison with the customer and certification body on Quality Assurance topics.
Approves and monitors the performance of suppliers.
Responsible for verification and recording of inward goods and services.
Ensures that the requirements of ISO 9001 are fully addressed and checks that the Quality
System of the company is completely and effectively implemented, maintained and
reviewed.
Ensures that the Quality requirements of customers are met and that the necessary
inspections, tests, and verifications are carried out as required by the contract.
Prepares or approves a formal Quality Plan.
Formulates and maintains Quality Assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies
and goals.
Interprets Quality Assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization.
Performs Quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated
requirements, including Quality Manuals and company Quality records.
Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current
process and process changes.
Reviews and reports periodically on levels of precision and bias in routine tests of the central
and site laboratories.
Decides or recommends whether to accept a product or continue business with a vendor
based on audit reviews.
Reviews all data obtained during all Quality Assurance activities to ensure consistency with
company policies and procedures.
Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during Quality Assurance activities.
Keeps management abreast of significant issues or developments identified during Quality
Assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
Prepares and presents technical and program information to the management.
Prepares Quality Summaries for regular Management Reviews.
Directs auditors and technical and administrative workers engaged in Quality Assurance
codes and standards.
Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry Quality Assurance codes and
standards.
Plays an active role on Quality Management teams within the company.
Designs and implements Quality Assurance training programs to key personnel in
conjunction with management.
Maintains and updates Quality Assurance standards and the Quality records in the
company.
Ensures awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION

With all personnel in the company. With representatives from the consultant companies and
Certification bodies. With representatives from the Client, Consultant, Contractor and all
companies and firms associated with provision of goods or services to the company as directed /
agreed with the General Manager.
VIII- Qualifications
1- Education and Experience :
BS or equivalent and two years related experience in Quality Management procedures; or five
years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
2- Language Ability: (Arabic and English)
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond
to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
3- Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and
fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as
fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
4- Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
5- Computer Skills:
Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Inventory, Database software
