Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct rigorous inspections of materials and components to ensure they meet specified standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of inspection results, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify potential quality issues early in the manufacturing process.
  • Utilize advanced testing equipment and software to assess product quality and performance metrics.
  • Lead root cause analysis for any quality failures, implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff on inspection techniques, quality standards, and compliance protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are highly desirable.
  • Experience with industry-specific standards like ASTM, ISO, or API is a must.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
