Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of materials and products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Develop and implement inspection plans and checklists tailored to specific projects, ensuring thorough coverage of all quality aspects.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to identify potential quality issues and provide solutions to enhance product integrity.
- Document and report inspection results, including non-conformance issues, and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform audits of quality management systems to ensure adherence to industry standards and internal policies, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Utilize statistical analysis tools to assess quality data and trends, contributing to informed decision-making and process optimization.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry regulations and standards, ensuring that all inspections comply with legal and contractual obligations.
- Train and mentor junior inspectors and production staff on quality standards and best practices to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Actively participate in project meetings, providing insights on quality-related topics and promoting a proactive approach to quality assurance.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in quality control methodologies and technologies to implement best practices in inspection processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC inspections, preferably within the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Certifications such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or CQI are highly desirable to validate expertise in quality management systems.
- Experience with industry-specific regulations, such as AS9100 for aerospace or API standards for oil and gas, to ensure compliance.
- Proficiency in quality inspection tools and software, including calipers, gauges, and inspection management systems, for accurate assessments.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus to facilitate communication in diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends, enabling effective problem-solving and quality enhancement.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring thorough inspections and documentation to uphold the highest quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals.
