Job Description:

Job Title: QA/QC Inspector Mechanical & Piping

Location: (Project Site Saudi Arabia)

Industry: Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / EPC / Shutdown & Turnaround

Job Summary:

The QA/QC Inspector Mechanical & Piping is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and piping works are executed in compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. The role involves inspection, documentation, and coordination with construction teams to maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of mechanical and piping works as per approved ITP (Inspection Test Plan)
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and international standards
• Conduct inspections for piping installation, fit-up, welding, and testing activities
• Verify materials, mill test certificates (MTC), and ensure traceability
• Witness hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and flushing activities
• Monitor welding activities and ensure WPS/PQR compliance
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and client representatives
• Prepare and maintain quality records, reports, and inspection documentation
• Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up for closure
• Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures and quality plans
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards during inspection activities

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC (Mechanical & Piping)
• Strong experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical projects
• Mandatory GCC / Saudi Arabia experience preferred (contractor side)
• Certifications such as CSWIP / AWS / ASNT (preferred depending on role)
• Experience in Shutdown & Turnaround projects
• Familiar with international codes & standards (ASME, API, ASTM, Aramco standards)
• Experience in welding inspection, NDT coordination, and piping systems
