Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure adherence to quality control plans, specifications, and project requirements throughout construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities, materials, and workmanship to identify and address non-conformances promptly.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes, ensuring they align with industry best practices and project-specific needs.
  • Manage and maintain all quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action records.
  • Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality control standards and procedures, promoting a culture of quality.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and other project documentation to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regular quality control reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in technical principles.

  • Holds relevant certifications such as ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA), showcasing a commitment to quality standards.

  • Offers a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the manufacturing or related industry.

  • Exhibits strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001, ensuring compliance and best practices.

  • Shows experience in conducting audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations.

  • Displays strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

  • Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
