Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC strategies tailored to project specifications, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Conduct detailed inspections and audits across production processes to identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality failures, ensuring that lessons learned are documented and integrated into future practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a quality-driven culture, ensuring that quality metrics are consistently met.
  • Oversee the training and development of QA/QC staff, enhancing their skills in quality control methodologies and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and maintain quality documentation systems, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality manuals.
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends, enabling proactive improvements in production processes.
  • Interface with clients and stakeholders to communicate quality performance and address any quality-related concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO, ASTM, or industry-specific guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audits, and inspections for senior management review and strategic decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within the manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO or Six Sigma is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage for global projects.
  • Proficient in quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite for reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey quality standards and expectations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team motivation and development.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence.
  • Must be UPDA certified and well-versed with QCS 2024 requirements
