QA/QC Specialist

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)

The QA/QC Specialist will be responsible to lead Quality Management System (QMS) activities.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ensure work is performed in compliance with all applicable regulations and Company policies.
• Conduct presentations to Senior Management on QMS, awareness, guidance on methodologies and performance tracking for continuous improvement of system.
• Provide strategic support for QMS Implementation across Oxy Oman business units and departments.
• Lead Quality Awareness initiatives to foster engagement and adoption of best practices across Oxy Oman.
• Propose strategies for implementing continuous improvement and innovation throughout the Company.
• Participate in training of departmental internal auditors and provide assistance in preparation of audits.
• Develop and review internal audit schedules for all departments and Company.
• Perform analyses of timely resolutions of Non-conformances and Corrective actions from Internal and External audits.
• Prepare and maintain activity planning and KPIs related to QMS implementation and awareness, NCR and CAR resolution and communicate findings to Senior Management.
• Support with preparing service contracts for QMS related activities.
