Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Develop, implement, and maintain QC/QA policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Process Control & Compliance
- Establish and monitor process control methods to ensure consistent product quality.
- Manage non-conformities, CAPA, and conduct root cause analysis.
KPIs & Performance Monitoring
- Define and track quality KPIs (daily / weekly / monthly).
- Analyze customer complaints and market feedback, and propose corrective actions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop QC inspectors and lab technicians.
- Set inspection, testing, and reporting standards across the department.
Laboratory & Equipment Oversight
- Supervise calibration, maintenance, and proper use of lab equipment
(e.g. melt flow index, tensile testers, balances, density meters). - Validate lab results to meet internal and customer standards.
Continuous Improvement & Cost Control
- Identify gaps, reduce waste, and improve QC processes.
- Support budget control and propose CAPEX when needed.
Supplier & Audit Management
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluate incoming raw materials.
- Define acceptance, rejection, and return standards.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure OHS and environmental compliance within all QC activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, Science, or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC within plastic manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality tools, and CAPA.
- Hands-on experience with plastic lab testing equipment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Good command of English (written & spoken).
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
