QA / Testing Engineer

The Tester / QA Engineer is responsible for validating the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications. This role ensures defect free releases by designing test scenarios, executing test cases, detecting issues, and collaborating with cross functional teams. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high quality software.

Testing & Validation:

• Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases.
• Perform comprehensive testing: functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance.
• Validate UI, API, and databases to ensure robust performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects through closure using industry-standard tools.

Requirement & Test Documentation:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain test plans, scripts, and test data.
• Ensure complete coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, reviews, estimations) to support continuous delivery.
• Communicate risks, blockers, and progress clearly to stakeholders.

Quality Improvements

• Recommend enhancements to testing processes and product quality.
• Assist in root cause analysis for recurring defects.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable.
