QAQC Engineer Desert group investment LLC

Responsibilities will include the below among others:

Project Operation

1. Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy

2. Produce and implement project specific “Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)” in line with project specification

3. Responsible for reviewing construction procedures / method statements in accordance with client's specified plans and requirements

4. Inspection of DLSP and subcontractors work on site and present the report to the client for approval

5. Identify non-conformances and take preventive and corrective actions

6. Perform QA/QC checks, audits and reviews

7. Ensure the electrical/mechanical work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.

8. Ensure that the installation, inspection, and testing of all the electrical/mechanical equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements

Documentation and Reporting

1. Prepare and submit material inspection, material submittal,shop drawing submission, method statement, corresponding QA/QC logs and liaise with consultants for the approval of the submittal

2. Inspection of Site filing system and ensuring all QA documents are being used as per Company procedures

3. Attend Monthly Project Review Meetings and alert the project team of any potential problems

4. Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant's design, and existing local authority standard

Planning and Coordination

1. Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors

2. Liaise with the Client's representatives for the conduct of day-to-day quality related project activities

3. Assist as necessary the Engineering department in the evaluation and correction of specific quality control problems and issues

4. Close of NCRs in conjunction with the site team. Provide training of foremen and labour on quality matters
