QAQC - HEAD Eastern Asphalt and Mixed Concrete Co.

1. Quality Management & Control

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and inspection plans for all precast production activities.
• Ensure that all products meet required standards before delivery to the site.
• Oversee day-to-day quality control at batching, casting, curing, demoulding, and finishing stages.
• Conduct internal audits and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead investigations for non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.

2. Concrete Technology & Mix Design

• Develop and optimize concrete mix designs for various precast applications, including grey, white, acid-washed, and sandblasted finishes.
• Monitor raw material quality and conduct periodic testing of aggregates, cement, admixtures, and reinforcement.
• Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure consistent concrete quality and finish.

3. Finishes & Aesthetics

• Supervise and ensure consistent surface finishes—sandblasted, white concrete, acid-washed, painted, or textured panels.
• Conduct mock-ups and sample approvals with clients and consultants.

4. Documentation & ISO Compliance

• Maintain all QA/QC documentation, test reports, inspection checklists, calibration records, and traceability logs.
• Oversee and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for the division. Also, overall ISO responsibility, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Liaise with external auditors and certification bodies during audits.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate closely with production, design, and project teams to ensure specifications are clearly understood and implemented.
• Represent QA/QC in client and consultant meetings.
• Provide training and awareness to staff on quality procedures and best practices.

6. Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of QA/QC Engineers, lab technicians, and inspectors.
• Establish clear KPIs for the QA/QC department and monitor performance.
