Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical equipment, piping, and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using methods like Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Radiographic Testing (RT) to assess the integrity of welds and materials, adhering to ASNT Level II certification.
  • Review and approve mechanical drawings, calculations, and vendor documentation, verifying accuracy and adherence to design requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, inspection plans, and checklists tailored to mechanical systems and components.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a strong understanding of mechanical principles is essential.
  • ASNT Level II certification in at least two NDT methods (UT, MT, RT) is mandatory, demonstrating proficiency in non-destructive testing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC within the oil and gas, power generation, or similar industries, proving industry expertise.
  • Proven experience in performing inspections, interpreting codes and standards (ASME, API), and reviewing technical documentation.
