In 2018, Qatargas merged with RasGas, creating an unrivalled energy operator in terms of size, service and reliability. In September 2023, Qatargas rebranded to become QatarEnergy LNG. QatarEnergy LNG is a unique global energy operator in terms of size, service and reliability. We operate 14 liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains with a total annual production capacity of 77 million metric tonnes. Established in 1984, QatarEnergy LNG helps develop and produce hydrocarbons from the world’s largest non-associated natural gas field.
