Ensure that the works are carried out as per the specification, approved construction drawing and method statement. And confirm that the works are properly inspected at the required stages as stated in ITP and/or as required and recorded accordingly.

• Issue and administer non-conformance, corrective action reports as necessary and ensure follow up.
• Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken.
• Ensure the verification of documentation and certificates for material purchased. Inspects, fills in, and signs companies and client checklists.
• Check and ensure that required tests are performed and verify its compliance against requirements. Witness the tests on a random basis.
• Coordinate with the execution team, project management, client and consultant to resolve QC related problems, if any.
• Obtain and verify the quality records and maintain it in a traceable, easily retrievable and safe manner. Maintain a proper log for the records.
• Report quality-related matters to the Project Manager for taking necessary action and reports to Quality Manager for information.
• Preparation of quality-related documents like Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan, Method Statement, Check List and other forms.
• Site quality inspections, material receiving inspections and reports to the concerned personnel/authority. Control and monitoring inspection and test requirements and data with respect to project specifications.
• Coordinate with the Independent Testing Laboratory for material testing, follow-up for test reports and submit to the consultant.
• Prepare daily /weekly quality reports and submit to the consultant {if required) and Managers for review and record.
• Assuring the maintenance and calibration of inspection and testing equipment.
• Implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System requirement in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Procedures._
• Observing & inspecting site activities to assure a high standard of quality due to standards and company specs

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Substations projects experience is preferred
• Microsoft Office
• Site experience
• Communication skills
