Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review technical specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
  • Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship at different project stages.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents (e.g., RFI, MIR, NCR, ITP reports).
  • Coordinate with consultants and third-party inspectors for approvals.
  • Raise non-conformities and verify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and verify calibration of inspection equipment.
  • Participate in internal quality audits and reporting.
  • Procurement Interface:
  • Provide technical review and feedback on material submittals.
  • Support the procurement team in verifying material compliance with specs.
  • Recommend or verify approved suppliers from a quality perspective.
  • Participate in supplier evaluation related to quality aspects.
  • Review material samples and assist in obtaining consultant approvals.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure the delivery of approved materials.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Good understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001), materials, and specifications.
  • Experience dealing with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Strong technical review and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments (especially with procurement and technical teams).
  • Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems is a plus.
  • Relevant quality certifications (e.g., ISO, CSWIP, NDT) are preferred.
  • Reporting To:
  • Quality Manager / QA/QC Lead
  • Works in coordination with Procurement Department for technical matters
