Roles & Responsibilities

Inspect civil construction work, including foundations, structures, roads, and pavements, to ensure compliance with Aramco standards and specifications.

Verify the quality and consistency of materials used, such as concrete, asphalt, steel, and aggregates, in line with approved drawings and standards.

Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure that they align with quality control procedures and meet Aramco s required specifications.

Review contractor work methods and ensure adherence to Aramco s guidelines for construction practices, including site preparation, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring.

Conduct inspections of incoming materials to verify their compliance with quality standards.

Coordinate with laboratories for testing materials such as concrete, soil, and asphalt for quality, durability, and compliance with project requirements.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and approvals, and ensure all documentation complies with Aramco s standards.

Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and follow-up on corrective actions for identified quality issues.

Provide daily or weekly progress reports to the project management team regarding quality control activities.

Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues during construction.

Assist in resolving any technical or quality concerns on-site and ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly.

Review and approve the implementation of construction methods and procedures to ensure they comply with Aramco s standards.

Ensure that proper inspection techniques and procedures are followed during construction processes.

Identify and document any non-conformance to project specifications or quality standards.

Coordinate corrective actions and follow up to ensure that deficiencies are addressed and resolved.

Ensure that all construction activities meet the safety requirements and environmental standards set by Aramco and local regulations.

Monitor the implementation of site safety protocols and environmental protection measures during construction activities.

Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with Aramco s quality assurance requirements.

Provide support during audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit-related concerns.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

Aramco-approved QC Inspector certification (required for this role).

Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in quality control inspection for civil construction projects, particularly in oil and gas or large-scale infrastructure projects.

In-depth knowledge of Aramco's construction standards and requirements.

Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, BS, or ISO.

Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect and ensure that all construction activities and materials meet Aramco s exacting standards.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and material testing methods.

Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve quality-related issues or discrepancies in construction processes.

Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to report quality issues, provide technical advice, and coordinate with teams.

Documentation and Reporting: Proficient in maintaining detailed inspection logs, reports, and other project documentation.

Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, ensuring that inspections and reports are completed on time.
