Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of coating applications to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications, identifying any defects or non-conformities.
- Utilize advanced testing equipment, such as dry film thickness gauges and adhesion testers, to assess the quality of coatings and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and contractors to address quality issues promptly, ensuring timely resolutions and minimizing project delays.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports that clearly document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
A Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred to ensure a solid understanding of coating materials and properties.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in coatings inspection, particularly in industrial or marine applications, demonstrating a proven track record of quality assurance.
Certifications such as NACE Level 1 or BGAS certification are highly desirable, showcasing expertise in coating inspection standards.
Experience working in diverse environments, including oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing, highlighting adaptability to various industry challenges.
