Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures specifically tailored for automotive manufacturing processes to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products, using advanced measurement tools and techniques.
- Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues within the automotive supply chain.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier teams to resolve quality-related problems, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Possess certifications like CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or equivalent; IATF 16949 certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated experience in using quality tools and methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys, and statistical process control (SPC).
