Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified **Quality Control Engineer (QC Engineer)** with extensive

experience in steel structure fabrication, welding inspection, and erection quality assurance.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with approved drawings,

specifications, and international standards through systematic inspections and

documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect fabricated components and erected structures to ensure dimensional and visual

conformity.

- Review material test certificates, welding procedures (WPS/PQR), and welder

qualification records.

- Conduct stage-wise inspection of fabrication and erection activities (fit-up, welding,

painting, bolting, alignment).

- Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and Material

Inspection Requests (MIRs).

- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant client/project specifications.

- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and clients for joint inspections.

- Maintain NCRs, quality logs, and corrective/preventive action reports.

- Participate in QA/QC meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of welding inspection, NDT (VT, PT, MT), and relevant standards (AWS,

ASME, ISO).

- Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and quality codes.

- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

- Team-oriented with good communication and analytical skills.
