Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform material receiving inspection for GRE/GRP/GRV pipes, fittings, and spools.
Monitor storage, handling, and preservation of composite piping materials.
Raise and manage RFI (Request for Inspection) as per approved ITP.
Inspect adhesive bonding, lamination joints, and curing activities.
Witness installation activities, including alignment, jointing, and backfilling.
Conduct and witness hydrostatic testing, leak testing, and reinstatement activities.
Monitor and interpret NDT/NDE activities where applicable.
Implement and maintain flange management system.
Perform line walk inspections, raise punch points, and ensure closure.
Ensure compliance with ISO 14692 and project specifications.
Prepare and compile QA/QC documentation, test packages, and final dossiers for handover.
Maintain calibration records of inspection tools and equipment.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure quality awareness among site teams.
Ensure proper material traceability and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma / Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in QA/QC for GRE/GRP piping & pipeline projects
Strong experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects (ADNOC / Middle East preferred)
Knowledge of ISO 14692, project specifications, and quality standards
Experience in shutdown, tie-in, and pipeline projects
Vendor certifications/training (e.g., FPI, NOV, CPI) will be an advantage
Good understanding of ITP, RFI, NCR, and QA/QC documentation
