Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Urgently Required QC Inspector For a factory specialized in metal industries and welding, located in Cairo

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and codes (ASME / AWS / API).
  • Review engineering drawings (Fabrication Drawings & Welding Symbols) before and during execution.
  • Monitor implementation of the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and document results in technical reports.
  • Ensure that raw materials and final products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports, document results, and submit them to management.
  • Follow up on the implementation of quality control (QC) procedures, analyze defect causes, and propose improvements.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related field) or specialized technical diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in quality inspection within metal industries and welding.
  • Familiarity with international codes (ASME / AWS / API).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and engineering details.
  • Proficiency in using measurement and inspection tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Preferably holding NDT Level II welding inspection certificates or accredited quality certifications.

  • Full-time.
  • Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
  • Preference for residents of Greater Cairo.
