Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of painted and coated surfaces, ensuring adherence to project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
  • Verify surface preparation processes, including cleaning, blasting, and priming, to guarantee optimal coating adhesion and longevity.
  • Utilize inspection tools like wet film thickness gauges, holiday detectors, and gloss meters to accurately assess coating properties.
  • Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point) during coating application, ensuring they fall within acceptable limits.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, materials science) is a plus.

  • Holds certifications such as NACE CIP, SSPC, or equivalent, demonstrating proficiency in coating inspection methodologies.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of experience in the painting and coating industry, with a focus on quality control.

  • Displays prior experience in the Oil & Gas, Marine, or Construction industry.


Candidates must have relevant experience in Pipeline, EPC, Oil & Gas, Flowline, Brownfield, Upstream Facilities, or Wellhead projects. Preference will be given to candidates with prior Gulf experience, especially those who have worked on ADNOC projects. ✅ Clean Shave facial policy is applicable ❌ Candidates with Metro Line, Building Line, or Road Infrastructure experience are NOT eligible No Building construction experience except for road safety coordinators
