Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications, identifying any defects or non-conformities.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of piping installations during construction phases.
  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant tests to assess the integrity of piping systems.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and construction teams to provide feedback on quality issues and recommend corrective actions promptly.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in piping inspection within oil & gas, petrochemical, or construction industries.
  • Certifications such as AWS CWI, ASNT Level II, or API 570 are highly desirable for demonstrating expertise.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting piping drawings, isometric diagrams, and technical specifications.
