Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough visual inspections of pipeline welds, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards such as ASME B3 or API
  • Verify welder qualifications and monitor welding procedures (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR) to ensure compliance.
  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) interpretation (Radiographic, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, and Dye Penetrant) results to assess weld integrity and identify defects.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken during welding activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

  • Holds a valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from the American Welding Society (AWS); or equivalent.

  • Has a minimum of 10 years of experience in pipeline welding inspection, with a focus on onshore or offshore projects.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.


Candidates must have relevant experience in Pipeline, EPC, Oil & Gas, Flowline, Brownfield, Upstream Facilities, or Wellhead projects. Preference will be given to candidates with prior Gulf experience, especially those who have worked on ADNOC projects. ✅ Clean Shave facial policy is applicable ❌ Candidates with Metro Line, Building Line, or Road Infrastructure experience are NOT eligible No Building construction experience except for road safety coordinators
