Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title:
QC Inspector Welding
Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Civil Engineering for Civil Inspector roles)

Responsibilities:
Perform inspection and testing of welding works to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Review drawings, specifications, and procedures related to welding activities.
Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and tests.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times.

Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years of experience in welding or relevant inspection roles.
Gulf experience preferred/mandatory depending on the project.
Certifications (required/preferred):
CSWIP 3.1 / ASNT Level II (RT, UT, MT, PT)
NACE Level 2/3 or BGAS 1/2 (for Painting & Coating inspections)
GRE Material Manufacturer Certifications (for GRE projects)
API 653 (for Tanks)
Strong knowledge of welding standards, codes, and inspection techniques.
Attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate reports.
