Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Our company is seeking a QC Mechanical Inspector to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical works and ensuring all activities comply with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.

  • Perform mechanical inspections according to Quality procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, including Isometrics, P&IDs, and General Arrangements.
  • Inspect mechanical systems such as piping, installations, welding, and equipment.
  • Verify material compliance and supplier certificates against project specifications.
  • Prepare daily inspection reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and submit them to management.
  • Coordinate with engineering and execution teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Adhere to quality and safety procedures while on-site.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in QC or mechanical inspection.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong report-writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Notice period: 1 month.
  • Experience in major projects such as ARAMCO, METSCO, or similar.
  • Certifications in NDT or inspection (e.g., API, CSWIP, AWS CWI).
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, ITPs, and Method Statements.

Required Certifications:

  • CSWIP / AWS CWI, API 570 / 653, NDT Level II
  • ISO 9001, ITP / Method Statements, and additional mechanical engineering certifications
  • OSHA and Aramco / METSCO Contractor Safety Training
Note: Candidates must possess these certifications to be considered.
