Roles & Responsibilities
Urgent Requirement Piping QC Inspector
Location: Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Work Visa
Duty Hours: 8 Hours/Day, 6 Days/Week
Role Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Piping QC Inspector to ensure all mechanical piping systems and welding activities at the power plant site meet design, safety, and quality standards. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring welding/fabrication processes, and ensuring compliance with international codes such as ASME, AWS, ASTM, and API.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect piping systems and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Review welding & fabrication activities (Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Boiler Tubes, Tanks, Brazing).
- Oversee NDT methods (RT, PT, UT, MT) and perform tests (Holiday, Vacuum Box, Ferrite, Hardness).
- Conduct hydrostatic/pressure testing of piping systems.
- Maintain inspection documentation and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Mentor junior inspectors and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
- CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a Piping QC Inspector, including 2+ years in CCGT power plants.
- Strong knowledge of welding, piping systems, and NDT methods.
- Ability to read piping isometrics, GA drawings, and P&IDs.
- Familiarity with PMI, PWHT, painting, insulation, cladding, and pump installation.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
