Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
You will test and analyse raw and packaging materials to make sure materials meet quality and safety standards. You will work closely with laboratory colleagues, quality and production teams. Responsibilities:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Sample and test raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates and finished products using approved methods and protocols.
-Operate, maintain and perform basic troubleshooting on laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, IR and analytical balances.
- Prepare and standardize reference standards, reagents and volumetric solutions and maintain related documentation.
- Record, review and report accurate laboratory data while following data integrity and quality system requirements.
- Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions for out-of-specification results or instrument issues.
- Maintain retained sample storage, monitor environmental conditions and help manage sample inventory and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or a related science field.
- 0 to 3 years of practical laboratory experience in analytical testing, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Practical experience or training with common analytical instrumentation and laboratory techniques.
- Knowledge of good laboratory practice (GLP) and good manufacturing practice (GMP) expectations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use laboratory systems and standard software.
- Effective communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
Preferred Qualification:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience with HPLC and GC operation and basic method troubleshooting.
- Experience in raw materials or packaging materials testing, supplier COA review and monograph analysis.
- Familiarity with stability sample handling and stability program requirements.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and experience following SOPs and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to data integrity.
- Experience in a multinational or highly regulated environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
This position is on-site in Egypt. You will work from our laboratory location and collaborate regularly with cross-functional colleagues. We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or a related science field.
- 0 to 3 years of practical laboratory experience in analytical testing, preferably in a regulated industry.
