Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the QC team, ensuring effective sampling, testing, and reporting.
  • Ensure raw materials, in-process items, and finished products conform to quality specifications.
  • Develop, implement, and improve quality control procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate with production and supply chain departments to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality incidents and customer complaints
  • Maintain all QC documentation and ensure traceability of test results and batch records
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and validated.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP, or other relevant standards.
  • Train and develop QC staff to build technical capabilities and awareness
  • Report quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, rejections, customer complaints) to management regularly.

Desired Candidate Profile

-Bachelor s degree in Chemistry

-5 8 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing or industrial environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

-Solid understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.).

-Experience with laboratory testing, instrumentation, and statistical quality control tools.

-Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the industry ( chemical)
