Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QHSE Officer to ensure effective implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies across our operations. The ideal candidate will support compliance with statutory requirements, company procedures, and best industry practices. Duties will include but not limited to:
Conduct site HSE inspections and monitoring various high risk activities
Conduct Risk Assessments and Safety Audits
Conducts HSE orientation / induction to site operatives
Management of subcontractors HSE
Conduct trainings, awareness, toolbox talks & basic induction courses to new employees.
Prepare & submit safety performance reports/ risk assessments to client & liaise with client in HSE issues at sites
Promote safe working methods on sites & ensure safety of personnel. Investigate incidents, analyses root causes & report non-conformity.
Implement and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and programs on site
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and company standards
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and corrective actions
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training
Monitor PPE usage and safe work practices
Maintain QHSE documentation, records, and reports
Coordinate with operations, supervisors, and subcontractors on QHSE matters
Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of staff
Desired Candidate Profile
A bachelor’s degree in science (Environmental, Health and Safety) or Extensive experience, Science or Engineering, or Four Year College or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-8 years minimum experience in Facilities Management Maintenance
OSHAD Practitioner, AD EHSMS Practitioner NEBOSH IGC1 International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, etc.)
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification (mandatory)
Strong understanding of UAE HSE regulations and local authority requirements
Good reporting, communication, and coordination skills
Proficient in MS Office
Immediate joiners preferred
