Roles & Responsibilities
Job description For Quality Health Safety Environmental Officer-Healthcare
1. Must have work experience in cleaning industry with at least 5 years with the following certificates:
2. Hospital experience/mall/hospitality
3. Develop, implement and improve QHSE management systems, processes and procedures to support the operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & OSHAD-SF.
4. Communicates information on the QHSE Management System throughout the organisation and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels i.e. TBT, inductions, training, campaigns, flyers, discussions, emails etc. in consultation with all relevant departments.
5. Prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the Operations team.
6. Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments across all cleaning sites
7. Undertake QHSE inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company. Follows up on the preventive and / or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitors the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments.
8. Develop, facilitate and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operations team.
9. Record QHSE key performance indicators on a monthly basis and issue reports as necessary. Suggest and advise changes to ensure continuous improvement on any additional effective KPIs to be added in the system as part of continual improvement.
Work Environment
· Regular field visits to hospitals, malls, airports, commercial buildings, and industrial sites.
· Outdoor and indoor work depending on client location.
· Shift-based operations may require early morning or late evening visits.
· Location: Various client sites (Hospitals, Hotel, School, Airport, Malls, Residential, Commercial Buildings, Industrial Facilities)
Requirements:
· Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, MSDS, COSHH, and equipment safety.
· 3-5 Years’ Experience as HSE officer on Site.
· Bachelor’s degree in any fields of study
· Diploma in Fire and Safety Engineering.
· NEBOSH/IOSH accredited certification Managing Safely (mandatory). (Certificate to be verify)
· Good knowledge of local & international legislation and regulations related to HSE.
· Certified from OSHAD if any
