Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within facility management operations. The role involves implementing QHSE policies, conducting inspections, managing risks, and ensuring a safe working environment in accordance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with UAE health & safety regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across facilities.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Monitor and report QHSE performance metrics.
Conduct incident/accident investigations and prepare reports.
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits and compliance.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams on QHSE matters.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at all sites.
Support ISO standards implementation (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in QHSE role within Facility Management or related industry.
Certifications (Mandatory):
NEBOSH (IGC or equivalent)
IOSH (Managing Safely or equivalent)
OSHAD / OSAD certification (preferred/advantage)
Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and compliance standards.
Experience in handling audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Currently residing in Dubai, UAE
Immediate or short notice availability
Experience in managing multiple FM sites
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
