Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies, regulations, and statutory requirements across the plant.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments of operational activities, including chemical handling, high-pressure systems, and confined spaces.
• Develop and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for plant personnel and contractors.
• Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Promote proactive hazard identification and near-miss reporting among the workforce.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, chemicals, and wastes in line with environmental standards.

Quality Management:

• Support implementation of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) within the O&M framework.
• Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate with external certification bodies.
• Monitor compliance with O&M procedures, maintenance records, and water quality monitoring requirements.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Method Statements.

Operational Support:

• Liaise with O&M teams to ensure that plant operations, including RO units, intake/outfall systems, and chemical dosing systems, are performed in line with QHSE standards.
• Provide QHSE input during maintenance activities, shutdowns, and emergency response drills.
• Ensure contractors and vendors adhere to QHSE requirements while working on-site.
