Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provides support to Line Manager in the implementation of strategies and processes to ensure that quality and HSE objectives are met.
  • Conducts batch testing and recording during the production process as well as the dispatch process to ensure quality adherence; takes remedial action in case of non-conformance.
  • Supervises product defect analysis and scraps and manage reduction.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of laboratory equipment; recommends replacement or upgrade as required and Calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
  • Performs customer product quality service support. Conducts product failure investigation and submits final report.
  • Liaise with external auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities during inspections and audits and Coordinates third-party witness testing & factory audits by the clients.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE and Quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.) ensuring continual improvement.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and verify control measures.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare root cause analysis reports and recommend preventive measures.
  • Prepare and supervise corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes for non-conformances and violations.
  • Lead environmental initiatives on waste management, energy efficiency, and pollution prevention.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • An Enginerring graduate with 6 to 9 years of relevanbt experience.
  • Should hold relevant certifications – NEBOSH. Other certifications related to occupational health and safety areas will be a definite advantage
  • Comprehensive knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment areas.
  • Strong initiative and focus on results.
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
