Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and financial planning.
- Prepare and analyze tender documentation, collaborating with contractors to submit competitive bids.
- Monitor project progress and expenditures, implementing cost control measures to prevent budget overruns.
- Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and protecting the company's interests.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- Professional certification, such as MRICS or equivalent, enhances credibility and demonstrates commitment to the field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects is a significant asset to the role.
