QS Engineer

Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and other documentation.

• Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts, variations, and claims with contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, cost analyses, and financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize project delivery.
• Review and validate invoices, payment applications, and supporting documentation.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and contractual requirements.
• Support project close-out activities, including final accounts and post-project evaluations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related engineering field.
• Proven track record in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management of projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and project management processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
