Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts, variations, and claims with contractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, cost analyses, and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize project delivery.
- Review and validate invoices, payment applications, and supporting documentation.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and contractual requirements.
- Support project close-out activities, including final accounts and post-project evaluations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related engineering field.
- Proven track record in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management of projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and project management processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
