Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the organization’s QA and acceptance strategy.
  • Establish testing standards, templates, and quality gates.
  • Ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and delivery frameworks.
  • Oversee test planning and execution across projects and products.
  • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, and acceptance activities.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, testing, and acceptance criteria.
  • Approve readiness for release and operational handover.
  • Establish defect management processes and tools.
  • Monitor defect trends and drive root cause analysis.
  • Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate with project managers, product teams, vendors, and operations.
  • Facilitate acceptance workshops and sign-off processes.
  • Ensure vendors meet contractual quality and acceptance requirements.
  • Track and report quality metrics and testing progress.
  • Identify quality risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience managing UAT, SIT, and acceptance processes
  • Preferred Certifications: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
  • Agile/Scrum knowledge (advantage)
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification (nice to have)
  • Typical Previous Roles: QA Manager, Test Manager, Release Manager, Delivery Manager
  • Preferred Tools: TestRail, Zephyr, Xray
  • Automation & Testing Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Postman
  • Tracking & Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
  • Reporting Tools: Power BI, Advanced Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and vendors
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
