Quality Assurance Engineer AW Rostamani Holdings Co LLC

Job purpose: To ensure that products and services meet defined quality standards and fulfil customer expectations. This role involves implementing testing processes, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and document test plans, strategies, and specifications based on product requirements and user stories.
• Create detailed, reusable test cases and test scripts for various testing types (functional, integration, automation, regression, performance, etc.).
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
• Build, execute and maintain automation frameworks and integrate automated test with CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues throughout the testing process using a defect tracking system.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that recent code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing (web and mobile).
• Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring they are configured correctly for testing.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to evaluate how applications perform under varying conditions.
• Analyze testing processes and results, providing recommendations for improvements in QA practices and methodologies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing activities, results, and quality metrics, and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in coordinating UAT activities with stakeholders, providing guidance and support during the testing phase.
