Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager will lead software testing and quality assurance activities across Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions. The role ensures excellence in software delivery by developing robust QA strategies, managing testing processes, and driving automation and optimization to support large-scale projects. This leadership position requires expertise in both manual and automated testing, along with strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
What You ll Do
- Oversee quality assurance testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance validation.
- Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies, methodologies, and processes tailored to project needs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals to maintain a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Act as the key liaison for QA across project managers, analysts, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic direction to ensure testing activities align with organizational goals and project timelines.
- Collaborate on test plans and ensure adequate coverage across software development lifecycle stages.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and process optimization to improve efficiency.
- Drive adoption of QA best practices, innovative tools, and industry standards.
- Track QA performance metrics, ensuring timely issue resolution and continuous process improvements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline; Master s preferred.
8 12 years of progressive QA and software testing experience, including test planning and execution.
Proven success in leading QA teams and managing complex software project testing.
Expertise in manual and automated testing tools with emphasis on QA best practices.
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, deliverables, and integration projects.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance hands-on testing involvement with strategic oversight.
