Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end quality assurance process for telecom products and services, ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal protocols.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate telecom network functionalities, including 4G/5G, VoIP, and data services.
- Conduct thorough testing, including functional, performance, security, and regression testing, to identify and report defects in telecom systems and applications.
- Analyze test results, provide detailed defect reports, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to network performance, service quality, and customer experience to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, developers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on quality standards and project goals.
- Stay abreast of the latest telecom technologies, industry trends, and quality assurance methodologies to enhance testing strategies and processes.
- Participate in the deployment of new telecom services and features, providing quality assurance support and ensuring a smooth launch.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the quality assurance process, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or similar.
- Exhibits a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the telecom industry, with a focus on network infrastructure and services.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of telecom technologies, including 4G/5G, VoIP, and data networks, and their related protocols and standards.
- Exhibits proficiency in using testing tools and automation frameworks, such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar, for effective testing.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Possesses strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exhibits a proactive approach to quality assurance, with a focus on continuous improvement and staying current with industry best practices.
- Displays strong attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all aspects of the quality assurance process.
- Is fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
