Quality Assurance Specialist

Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV)

Provide technical expertise on quality
assurance and quality control - Coordinate and execute projects,
including setting up process flows, identifying and documenting potential
issues, generating testing strategies, developing and maintaining test scripts,
and providing valuable QA feedback to developers

• Analyze product and process
  specifications and procedures
• Identify and recommend major
  improvements to procedural and business processes
• Develop quality assurance standards and
  processes
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Recommend changes or improvements to
  existing processes, methods, and technologies that improve product quality,
  safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction
• Develop and conduct test plans and test
  cases, including test scripts, results, execution, shared responsibilities,
  deadlines and test environment
• Implement test plans and test cases, and
  supervise inspections and testing of components, sub-assemblies, or for
  packaged software
• Develop test cases based on requirements
  and implement test plans to assure software meets project specifications and
  design
• Perform exploratory testing with a focus
  on identifying and documenting defects
• Review defects and test logs to identify
  root causes and suggest solutions for improving testing, documentation, and
  process improvement
• Perform research and write new test
  cases
• Document test data and results
• Understand product lifecycle concepts
  and participate in the test planning process
